This is an exciting time for our employees and our community as we continue the design process and begin construction of a new police facility. This building and its equipment will be a direct reflection of our City's commitment to provide the resources we need to serve our citizens. We will further our efforts to provide exceptional police services that meet or exceed professional standards by attaining accreditation through the Kentucky Association of Chiefs of Police. In addition, we continue plans to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Ashland Police Department that was established on August 28, 1858.

The Ashland Police Department is staffed by highly qualified and dedicated people who are committed to providing professional police services. We will continue our partnership with the community by seeking opportunities to further challenge our officers with responsibility for problem solving initiatives.
